The 1 AA Rosette Mulberry Restaurant located at the historic Grade II listed Heacham Manor Hotel, welcomes 2 new senior managers to their operations team.
With a combined experience of over 50 years in the industry, they join the team at an exciting and transformative time, ahead of the launch later this year of a brand new Golf Country Club, an extensive wedding, conference and events venue and 7 new bedrooms.
Having already launched new Lunch Menus including the ever-popular Sunday Lunch, the team will soon be introducing new A La Carte and Afternoon Tea Menus, uplifting the current offerings with the county’s abundance of fantastic seasonal fresh produce.
First to be welcomed to the team is Senior Food and Beverage Manager Clinton Jolly.
With 19 years of General Management experience with Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants under his belt, he led the team at a Norfolk location to deliver some of the highest weekly covers of any of its restaurants nationally.
A family man, Clinton is very passionate about great quality produce coupled with excellent service and keeps that personal touch at the forefront of what he does.
Norfolk born and bred, Clinton is committed to creating lasting fond memories for all who dine with him and the team at the Mulberry Restaurant.
Clinton commented, “The Mulberry Restaurant has an idyllic location in the wonderful airy conservatory overlooking the hotel’s manicured gardens and parkland golf course and coupled with a strong kitchen brigade, fabulous unpretentious menus and a friendly and professional service team, we are setting our sights on becoming a consistent favourite to guests and local residents alike”.
Heacham Manor is also delighted to welcome Head Chef, Johnnie Kidd.
With a prestigious induction to working in professional kitchens, Johnnie began his career under the tutorage of Michelin Star awarded Chef Desmond Cunningham.
Johnnie went on to refine his craft travelling across Europe and working in kitchens in France, Italy, and Greece. Broadening his repertoire and technique, before earning his first Head Chef position aged only 24.
Excited to bring his wealth of experience ranging from bustling city eateries to quaint country gastropubs to Heacham Manor Johnnie states “We wholeheartedly cannot wait to welcome customers here to experience our new menus offering an extensive selection of foods from around the globe.”
