Rosette Award Winning Restaurant

Take a glance at The Mulberry Restaurant guestbook and you'll see from other people's comments that we really do have a great restaurant. Head Chef Neil Rutland and his talented team are cooking their way to a string of culinary awards, including an AA Rosette awarded to the restaurant in February 2013. The menu is interesting and varied and really capitalises on one of Norfolk's greatest strengths - fantastic fresh ingredients. If you like food, you'll love the hotel restaurant (which also has superb views over our beautiful gardens and coastal golf course).

Whether you're a seasoned pro or an enthusiastic novice, you'll find that Heacham Manor's 18 hole course is a worthy and enjoyable challenge. Now in to it's 6th growing season (the hotel was a working farm up until 2008), the greens are fabulous and the fairways have matured well. There is also a driving range, a putting practice area and a 9 hole course on the neighbouring leisure resort which you can access from the hotel. You can find out more about the golf course here, or to book a round click here.

The Grounds

About Heacham Manor

The pretty driveway winds its way down to the hotel, where you are greeted by our wonderful golfer waiting to welcome you to Heacham Manor. In the beautiful gardens you will see an ancient Mulberry tree, thats legend holds, was planted by Pocahontas during a visit to Heacham with her husband John Rolfe. Over 400 years old, this Pocahontas Mulberry tree still produces Mulberry fruit and guests may enjoy a glass of our 'Mulberry Royale' champagne cocktail with the fruit from this historical tree! The peaceful grounds allow you to stroll between garden areas with arbours, ponds and secret sitting areas.
