The Christmas Tide Festival in Wells-next-the-Sea is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. The festival, with free entry, will take place on Saturday 2nd December from 10am until 8pm, and gives visitors the opportunity to buy locally-made gifts and Christmas decorations from the many craft and gift stalls. There will also be street entertainment throughout the day for the whole family to enjoy, as well as the Christmas light switch on at 4.15pm and a visit from Father Christmas himself at 5.30pm, followed by a firework display.
Cromer's Christmas Celebration takes place on 2nd December and offers plenty of festive fun for the whole family. There will be a Christmas tree and nativity scene, as well as a Christmas market from 10am on the day. Father Christmas and his reindeer will also be available for visits from 11.30am and there will be street entertainment throughout the afternoon. The day will round up with the Christmas light switch on at 4pm! What's more, Cromer Christmas Celebration is free and you can stay for as little or as long as you like!
This local Christmas market boasts 120 different stalls, offering everything from food and drink to gifts to Christmas decorations, from 1st to 3rd December. As well as the large range of local tradespeople, Dalegate Christmas market will also have festive entertainment and live music, which makes it the perfect festive family day out. Holkham Hall is one of Norfolk's most beautiful stately home, and their festive food fair from 10am-5pm on 16th and 17th December will certainly get you in the mood for Christmas. The fair, in The Lady Elizabeth Wing of Holkham Hall, features a wide variety of different local food and drink, so whether you're shopping for gifts or looking for that something special to add to your Christmas dinner, you are bound to find it here. There will also be a cookery theatre to provide you with tips for cooking at this time of year, as well as musical theatre entertainment to get you in the Christmas spirit. Tickets to the fair are free and there's no need to book, but there is a small parking fee of £3 per car at Holkham Hall.
